Today my classmates and I started off our day by going to the Kotel, the holiest place for Jews to go. While we were there we davened and read the Torah. For me this was a whole different experience!Although I have been there many times, I have never davened a full service which made this visit so meaningful and special. Afterwards we took a look at our past when we went to a virtual reality experience seeing what the old city would have looked like 2000 years ago! It was a lot of fun. I had never done anything like this ever before!
After we had lunch in the Jewish quarter we went to the city of David which was a water hike. Even though I have already gone there twice before(one of the times being two weeks ago, )it never gets old! I would love to keep doing it over and over again. The city of David was where you would travel underground in tunnels that had water in them up to your knees and everyone had lots of fun. A few hours later we went to a BBQ for Yom Hatzmaut with all of the schools that were there which were included in the Ramah program, and we did many activities that were a lot of fun enjoyed them. After everything we had done there was one final thing to do and that was to go to a mall. People that we knew were allowed to come. My uncle came, and we had lots of fun together and he bought me many treats. This day was a blast.
